⦁ Plain flour – two cups

⦁ Water – half a cup

⦁ Yeast – one tablespoon

⦁ Sugar – one tablespoon

⦁ Oil – one tablespoon

⦁ Salt to your taste

Instructions:

Dough

⦁ First, we will make dough for naan. For that, take a bowl, add half a cup of water to it.

⦁ Add yeast ( about one teaspoon), and 1 tablespoon of sugar.

⦁ Wait for 5 minutes and then add plain flour (two cups), oil (about one teaspoon), and 1/2 tablespoon of salt.

⦁ Mix well and knead to make a smooth dough by slowly adding the lukewarm water.

⦁ When the dough is ready, apply some oil on its top and put it aside for about 1 hour (or until it is doubled in size).

Marination

⦁ Take 250 grams of organic chicken mincemeat and add finely chopped onion (1-medium size).

⦁ Now add 1 tablespoon of roasted and crushed cumin, 2 tablespoons of crushed coriander, 1 tablespoon of chilli flakes, and 1/2 tablespoon of salt.

⦁ Add 2-3 green chillies (finely cut), the paste of garlic and ginger (one teaspoon each).

⦁ Mix well and let it marinate for 30 minutes.

Qeema Naan

⦁ Take the dough and knead it for 2 minutes. Now divide the dough into 5-6 equal parts and make dough balls from it. Cover it and wait for 10 minutes.

⦁ After 10 minutes, take a dough ball and flatten the edges using flour.

⦁ Now roll it to make a thin circular shape. Repeat the same steps for the second dough ball.

⦁ Put 3 tablespoons of marinated chicken in the centre, spread it evenly leaving the edges. Now place the second flat dough on the top and seal the edges.

⦁ Make small holes in the centre with the help of a toothpick.

⦁ Apply the egg on the top of the naan with help of a brush.

⦁ To bake it, preheat the oven and broil until it changes colour to golden yellow. (keep an eye on it after every two minutes).

⦁ Your organic chicken qeema naan is now ready. Serve hot, with some spicy sauce.
