The Costa Rica National Football team represents Costa Rica in the football world. The team is administered by Costa Rican Football Federation, which is the governing body for football in the country. The country is a member of FIFA since 1927 and a member of the Central American Football Union since 1990.

Costa Rica football team has gained significant importance for being the most successful national football team in Central America’s history. The team has won three CONCACAF Championships back in 1963, 1969, and 1989. Having won four championships until 2017, Costa Rica is the leading team in the Copa Centro Americana tournament.
