It is important to read between the lines and pick up on all those subtle signs that say the person you’re with is really interested in you. How do you know he is one should you decide to take things with him to the next level? Here are tell-tale signs that indicate your man is interested in a serious relationship
1. He listens attentively to you.
One of the essential things that men often get blamed for is being terrible listeners. Whether we don’t recollect that it was your friend’s anniversary this weekend or which scented candle was your desired one at the store – the small details always matter most. A man who cares for you truly will listen keenly and do his best to grasp all of the important information you discussed with him. It is a way of showing you that he appreciates and values you and what you have to say.
2. You seem relaxed and accepted for who you are
Ladies, we’ve known for a long time, but the opposite sex—like some things—sometimes takes a little longer. It’s not always about the big picture; it’s often the little things that make a person particularly lovable: The coffee he brings to your bed in the morning or watches your TV series with you, although he prefers watching football with his boys. As teenagers, men often look first at the physical appearance before a potential girlfriend’s inner person or character.
At least a decade and several relationships later, the gentlemen noticed a dream woman, especially the small positive features and quirks. So if your loved one loves you for that, then it is an indication that he has understood that these things fulfill you much more than a gorgeous look.
3. He has the same interests as you.
It is nice to have the same interests and hobbies and not just the hotbed story between you. Being on the same wavelength makes boring everyday life easier, but above all helps when important decisions have to be made, and he would like to exchange ideas with you.
If you and your husband are even more similar in character than in your interests, he too has recognized the importance. If he keeps mentioning how great he thinks it is that you feel the same way as he does, it is a sign that he has fallen in love with you. He notices that you are completing it. The phrase opposites attract may be accurate, but it usually doesn’t work so well in the long run.
4. He admits it
Even if it sounds easier than done: Before you rack your brains for days, take one test after the other online and live with the fear that he is not interested at all, the easiest way is to speak plain text. Ask him directly if he can imagine a firm bond with you because this is the only way you will find out whether he has a fear of attachments or is really in love with you. But be prepared to receive an honest and, above all, direct answer – no matter how it turns out.
You have to be prepared for the fact that everything could end emotionally, and lovesickness could hit you around the corner. If your man says he’s not ready for a steady relationship, but casual dating is still out of the question for you, it will likely end in a breakup. Give him some time. It may be that during the break, he realizes that he misses you and that he cannot do without you. He will contact you and want nothing more than to be with you firmly in such a case. He will notice that you are the love of his life and will never let go of you.
5. He stays close to you bodily.
From time to time, he tries to keep his arm around you, hugging you randomly, or cuddling up on the sofa is a good sign that a man really likes you. A man who truly cares and enjoys your company will always want to be near to you. Physical contact can send non-verbal communications that are worth paying attention to.
6. He is patient.
Sometimes you just want to voice your frustrations and have someone there to understand where you are coming from. A genuine guy is patient and stays put with you as you release your frustration without getting annoyed or upset. The only thing that upsets him is that you are frustrated, and he wishes you were not.
