Apart from the signings, should Everton stay up, Lampard must be ready to overhaul his system and ensure that his team is solid at the back first, using that as a springboard for joy further up the pitch. Working with his own players and the advantage of a pre-season will do him a lot of good, but they must assure safety first. The rest can come later, but he should have it at the back of his mind, as well.
