MMO games have never been a strong point of the gaming library on Android, but that’s starting to change quickly. Genshin Impact is very much like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, only in one big world with hundreds of other players. Like BotW, you can climb almost any surface in the game and explore the colorful world by flying a glider. The game’s calling card is the eye-pleasing anime style, while being more understated than in some other similar titles. In terms of gameplay mechanics, GI is a more in-depth and elaborate RPG than Breath of the Wild, with a wide range of character upgrades, various equipment and crafting. Genshin Impact is a full-fledged MMORPG, not a casino with autobattle and gaming scenery, and we hope that other Android MMOs will follow suit.
Hearthstone
All sorts of genres of games are released on Android, including adaptations of board games, but few are capable of recreating the feeling of a real game with another person. In terms of gameplay, Old School Runescape resembles most of the other MMOs that have come out in the last two decades (discounting its age), because it is the one that laid the foundation for the entire genre. The Android version of OSRS is almost as good as the PC version, and the game supports cross-platform, so you can play on your phone, then log into your account from your home PC or Mac and continue exactly where you left off.
PUBG Mobile
The battle royale genre owes its insane popularity to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. In 2017, the tie-in broke into all the tops and became one of the most successful shooters of the last decade.
At the beginning of a match, players are thrown onto a large map that begins to shrink rapidly. After a while, the survivors are pushed to one point, where they face a final battle, and the last one left standing turns out to be the winner.
The mobile version of the game has almost all the same features as the original PUBG on PC. Of course, the controls are not as handy as on the PC, but it would be foolish to expect anything different. PUBG Mobile is one of the best shooters for mobile gadgets, so it is more than worthy to be on our top.
