How to make Organic Butter Chicken

Organic butter chicken is a very delicious, easy, and popular recipe. It is also known as (organic) chicken makhani. Whenever you eat it, your taste buds will crave it again and again. You can easily make this super delicious dish at your home, following our recipe, and serve it to your guests and family.


For Marination

⦁ Boneless organic chicken ( cut into cubes of 1 inch) – 500 grams

⦁ Garlic paste – 1/2 teaspoon

⦁ Tandori masala – one teaspoon

⦁ Red chilli powder – one tablespoon

⦁ Yoghurt – 1/2 cup

⦁ Ginger paste – 1/2 teaspoon

⦁ Lemon juice – one tablespoon

For Gravy

⦁ Tomatoes (puree) – 3 medium size

⦁ Butter – half a cup

⦁ Red chilli powder – half teaspoon

⦁ Tomato ketchup – two teaspoons

⦁ Whole-spices powder – one tablespoon

⦁ Cumin seed (roasted and crushed) – one tablespoon

⦁ Garlic cloves (chopped) – 3

⦁ Green chili (chopped) – 3-4

⦁ Fenugreek leaves – 1/2 teaspoon

⦁ Cream – half a cup

⦁ Sugar – 1/2 teaspoon

⦁ Cashew nuts – 10-12



⦁ Take 500 grams of boneless organic chicken, cut it into cubes of 1 inch. Put it in a bowl.

⦁ Add lemon juice, red chilli powder, and one tablespoon of tandoori masala.

⦁ Now add half a teaspoon of garlic paste and 1/2 tablespoon of ginger paste.

⦁ Add half a cup of yoghurt. Mix well.

⦁ Cover to marinate for 20 to 30 minutes.

Tandoori chicken

⦁ Take a pan and add 2-3 tablespoons of butter (you can use oil also). Heat it on medium-low flame.

⦁ Add the marinated organic chicken. Cook for around 25 minutes or until it is tender.

⦁ Now cover and cook for 10 minutes. Keep the flame low.


⦁ Meanwhile, heat 3 tablespoons of butter on a medium-low flame in a separate pot.

⦁ Add 1 tablespoon of garlic paste and fry it.

⦁ When its edges are light brown, add green chillies and fry for a while.

⦁ Now add 1/2 tablespoon of roasted and crushed cumin powder and mix it.

⦁ Add 1/2 cup of tomato puree and 3 tablespoons of tomato ketchup. Mix well and cook until it is thick. Remember to keep the flame low.

⦁ Grind 10-12 cashew nuts and make their paste. Add the paste to gravy.

⦁ Now add red chilli powder, sugar, and salt. Mix well and cook for some minutes.

⦁ Add 1/2 cup of milk to the gravy. Mix well and your gravy is almost ready.

⦁ Now add organic chicken tandoori into the gravy and mix well.

⦁ Add one tablespoon of roasted and crushed cumin seed, one teaspoon of whole spices powder, and half a teaspoon of fenugreek leaves.

⦁ Now add fresh cream. Mix well and cook on low flame for a minute.

⦁ Your delicious organic chicken recipe is now ready to serve.
