TOP 9 Hand Emojis You Will Find Useful!

If the photo is worth a million words, an emoji is worth at least ten thousand, if not hundreds of thousands. But, given the overwhelming amount of alternatives available, how are we meant to know when to use every one of them? Take advantage of the large number of hands that each have a particular meaning and use them to communicate with others.

Even for those who are fluent in the language, the world of emoji may be daunting. Why is it that there are so many emojis with other meanings, and why are these social media users aware of them before you are?  Have you begun to doubt your whole emoji knowledge? It’s time to provide you with some further emoji information. Now, let’s discuss a segment of the emoji collection that many find especially helpful: the hand emoji.

1.      Crossed Finger Emoji

Emoji with crossed fingers is a hand gesture that is often used to pray for good fortune or to express hope to have a pleasant outcome. Sometimes Cross Finger Emoji entails attempting to beg God to provide protection. Now and again, some people may use this emoji or sign to excuse themselves from speaking a “white lie.” It might also be referred to as the “Good Luck Emoji” in some circles.

It was accepted as part of the Unicode 9.0 standard in 2016, with the codepoint U+1F91E. Occasionally, these images are confusing, and you may discern something else on the surface of them. There are skin tone differences in this emoji, and it appears to be mature enough to operate on all devices.

2.      Thumbs Up Emoji

Thumbs up emoji is also known as the “Yes” emoji. With the use of a thumbs up, it is possible to communicate general contentment, approval, acceptance, or agreement. It is commonly used to express the feelings “everything is good” or “thank you.” It can also be used sarcastically to suggest that something isn’t all that wonderful. The thumbs-up emoji first appeared in 2010 and has subsequently gained popularity.

3.      Thumbs Down Emoji

In contrast to its more favorable counterpart, a fisted hand with its thumb pointed downwards is rarely used mockingly or disparagingly. To express dislike or hatred for someone or something, use the following emoji. According to Emojipedia, it’s supposed to indicate hatred or disapproval, and it’s usually the emoji of choice by males when you cancel plans, even if you have a valid reason.

The thumbs-down emoji is equivalent to saying “no thanks.” It may also be used to inform someone that he is a jerk. In 2010, the Thumbs Down Emoji first appeared on the scene.

4.      OK Emoji

Likely the most often used emoji in my life, and according to EmojiTracker, a real-time emoji tracker for Twitter, it’s the most often used hand emoji at the moment. It’s similar to the Thumbs Up emoji, but it’s more entertaining. It may imply anything from “OK” to “Works for me” to “You look great in that dress” to “This is precisely how much I care” and anything in between.

5.      Peace Sign Emoji

Apple appears to want to call what is a peace sign emoji “Victory Hand,” in yet another bizarre turn of events involving naming. When it comes to saying farewell or goodnight to someone, the peace sign emoji is the go-to emoji. As an alternative, you might say “peace out” or anything along those lines. However, it may also be used to refer to anything as simple as “simply chilling” or “everything is calm and serene.”

6.      Clapping Hands Emoji

Some people refer to this character as the “applause emoji,” but I almost solely use it as a sarcastic golf clap when I’m being snarky. Anything that is truly deserving of praise should be accompanied with a thumbs up or a positive expression of some sort; therefore, you should only use the clapping hands to signal that someone’s conduct is not deserving of genuine applause in the first place.

7.      Call Me Emoji

Some would say that it is more often used as a “shaka” sign than a “call me” sign, but it may be used either way. Send when you’re in the mood to “hang loose,” “completely chill,” or “take it easy.” Furthermore, if you want to pretend that you are, in fact, “completely relaxed” and not stressed about that job project, it is almost certain that you procrastinated.

8.      Fist Bump Emoji

Even though this emoji’s formal term is “Fisted emoji,” let’s not use that phrase again. The Fist Bump emoji is used in the manner in which you would expect it to be used: to give someone praise or to suggest that they performed admirably.

9.      Flexed Bicep Emoji

The Flexed Bicep emoji is used to express sentiments of power, strength, or success. It is frequently used in the way you would expect it to be used: to notify someone that you have just finished working out or that you are now working out. It can also be used to mean “nailed it,” which is a bit less often.

In A Nutshell

Note that there are more than 20 distinct types of hand emojis, which is rather impressive. However, these nine emojis are the most commonly used by Generation Z. It is not only distinctive, but it also aids in the delivery of a specific message without the need to type lengthy sentences.
